Why yes, it is the 25th and I'm just now posting my pics from the 12th. But look on the bright side, at least I'm posting them (!) unlike Jan & March (when I took pics but didn't post) or Feb & April, when I didn't take pics at all. Small steps people. If you care to see the Flickr sets for those two months, sans commentary, then here they are: January (some experiments with close up shots although I don't have a macro lens) and March (mostly my dad in hospital that I was documenting to send to my bro).

SO...12 of 12! AGAIN! FINALLY! Here's hoping this re-starts the trend.

Post 12 pics of your day, and then link back to Chad, who started it all!

2) After you post your pictures onto a webpage of your choice (Livejournal, typepad, MySpace, Flickr, etc...) please post the TIME, LOCATION, and A SMALL COMMENT on the pic.

12:30 AM - Manor House, N4
As always, at least one Nimbus pic. Pretty standard here - he's sleeping, I'm awake.

9:40 AM – Northern Line
The Metro with election/coalition related news.

9:45 AM – walk to work
Fruit for sale at one of the little shops near my office. (£1 per bowl)

12:50 PM AM – leaving work
I only worked a half-day because a friend was visiting from the US and a few of us who worked at the Embassy were having a mini-reunion. On the walk out, this is a sign outside the pub nearest my office. I kind of love it. Also, CUSTARD YUM. (Although not very summery.)

2:45 PM – Richmond
We were tight on time for actually going to Kew, so they decided to go the next day instead. We went and had tea at one of the little teashops nearby. And (I never have high tea!) we figured we might as well go all out. Here's part of our haul.

2:50 PM – Richmond
My tea and carefully prepared scone. Delish.

5:30 PM – Richmond
At the bus stop on our way back out. This is me with my friend Debi, who was visiting from Colorado.

6:10 PM – Bakerloo Line
Billboard on the tube advertising TV coverage of the World Cup! Less then a month away!! OMG!!!

6:30 PM - Bakerloo Line
On my way to book club, taking a quick last glance at the book so I would be ready to discuss.

6:50 PM - Warwick Ave, W9
Walking from the tube to the flat of the girl who was hosting book club this month. Fancy smancy area compared to ours!

6:55 PM - Warwick Ave, W9
Random entrance to some sort of hotel or apartment complex. I just liked the wire-y lion.

6:56 PM - Warwick Ave, W9
And a close up of the flowers.

That's it! Pretty lovely day overall, and sheer luck that it ended up being the 12th. The next few months look good for it too, but once it gets back to falling work days I'm not sure what I'll do. It's easy to feel uninspired on a work day after doing it for over a year. There's only so much of my commute I can document, you know?!

Haha I KNOW! I thought exactly the same thing but then I forgot to write a comment about it. I mean seriously, did they not have a better shot to use?

I don't have high tea often enough. ;D I plan to remedy this. ;)

Also, this 12 of 12 cracks me up because you were in RICHMOND! That's my turf. Well, not anymore but YOU KNOW ;D

ALSO also, I love that picture of Nimbus so much! He is so cute! (There was an episode of LotS that had a kitten that looked JUST LIKE HIM IN IT. Only, er, that actually isn't an inducement to watch. :()

Other things that crack me up: the one of you with the book on your nose. ;D

Yeah I mostly just have high tea when I'm taking someone around doing the touristy thing. But this is SILLY - we should just go some Sunday and have it for fun. In fact, we should get dressed up and all go to Claridges or something.

I know several people who live in Richmond. And I don't like the book shot, I took quite a few and they were all bad, but I wanted one for the story-telling aspect (!) so had to settle.

I love scones with jam and cream (though only loved the cream bit in recent years).

Love the Warwick Avenue pic, and the one of the book on your nose makes me smile :D

Me too. I love cream of any type, but clotted cream is especially yum.

There were several nice Warwick Ave shots - it was so gorgeous and blue skied (skyed?) that it was easy to get them.
