jenepelLo! it is the 15th and Lo! I am posting my 12 of 12! Well, it's a start anyhow. This is a bit of a back to life, back to reality month, since it's all normal again after holidays and moving and such. No city beaches and glass boxes in the sky here! Which is a reference to my Sept 12 of 12, which may have been mostly missed because I posted it like, a week ago and never put it on Chad's page. So if you're interested, that's here: yay Chicago!

I had a bit of a crazy weekend, so spent Sunday afternoon/evening unpacking and sorting my room more. This is a picture of the stuff that I had left to unpack at the end of it all.

Meet Matilda! She is the cat of my new housemates, and very sweet. For now, relations between her and Nimbus are...well let's just say "strained".

An email from our old estate agents detailing how much of our deposit they want to keep! (Name & email blocked to protect the not-so-innocent.) I haven't blogged about this yet, but I'm pretty pissed. We're going to dispute some of it.

This is my new netbook and case that I bought so that I don't have to schlep my macbookpro all over town for writing. It's not a mac but I do love it so. The outside is shiny light pink, but you can't tell from this.

All the cool (geeky) kids are buying them! Three mini computers posed with a water bottle for size reference. If it wasn't there, they would look normal sized. Freaky!

Probably the weirdest thing about our new house - wall painting that was done by the landlord's kids. I've gotten so I don't notice it, but at first I was definitely like whoa.

Roller derby skates and helmet that Kaite gave me. She did RD for a while when she lived in London and wanted to get rid of her stuff so I'm going to try it out. I'm not sure if I'll be any good - I mean I can skate but I don't know about actual roller derby - but I guess we'll see.

So there it is. A 12 of 12 posted kind of on time! I'm sitting here on the couch watching Gossip Girl with my housemates. Awesomely, Nick is totally addicted, so we've been working our way through season one. Fun stuff.
