I will kill Virgin Media

The channel showing the Oscars cut out.  IT CUT OUT.  It says "This channel isn't on air right now" even though the Oscars are listed as what is showing.  I got to see half an hour of the ceremony.  And now it's gone.

I WILL KILL VIRGIN MEDIA.

I tried to call their helpline - it's shut because it's 2AM.  I wrote an email to the customer service, but I'm so sure that won't do anything.  I just can't believe this.  I'm like "I planned this out!  I was staying up all night!  I UPGRADED MY CABLE!"

I hate them.  The next place I move, when I'm setting up stuff like internet and TV I will not get Virgin.  We've had too many problems with them.

And I want my £18 back.

It's ridiculous how upset I am by this, but it is crap. I plan to complain like crazy tomorrow and they better credit it.

I called this morning as soon as the lines opened. The lady said they would refund it - but it took crying on my end. PAIN IN MY ASS.

so lame. you'd think the very fact that you were up to watch the oscars in the middle of the night would indicate your dedication... and the fact that they should not only refund you but like.... give you free stuff... to make it up for you!!

Well her main point was that just because I signed up for the movie package b/c of the Oscars didn't negate the fact that it was Sky Movies for a month. Me: I haven't watched a single other thing! Take the package away so we can't watch anything else! I don't care! The only thing I cared about you didn't show! [etc general melodrama]
