Yes, I'm a puppet. Doesn't mean you don't have work to do!

So things are all happening now! We went today (at lunch - I missed two hours of work!) to pick up the keys to our new place and sign the final forms, look at inventory, etc. Then we kind of all three sat on the couch and quietly squeed for a moment over how the house was actually ours. This weekend my parents are bringing the car down to help us move stuff, and we hand over the keys to our old place on Tuesday. Unbelievable that we only started looking at places about two weeks ago.

I finally watched the two Heroes episodes last night (WOW) and I want to post about them but now is not the time. I also watched the last episode of Lost In Austen, which...IDK if I'm on board with the ending, but was an interesting way to go.

I love this icon! I believe that I stole it from robinpoppins when she used it to comment some time. Friends is one of the first shows I was truly obsessed with, and there was definitely a time in my life when I could relate everything back to some quote or scene. My brother and I used to use this hand-sign of Ross and Monica's, and it always made me laugh.




This is a Buzzcocks quote, from one of the episodes where Noel Fielding was standing in for Bill Bailey. They were asked some question and this was his team's response; one of his teammates was Kristen Schaal (from Flight of the Conchords), and they were hilarious together. missjaffacake makes Buzzcocks icons after every show, and I usually want all of them, so I have to restrict myself for ones that are useful in LJ. This one is great, because you can use it whenever you are answering a question.



Tea! It's my favourite beverage, and pretty much makes everything better, so this is a comforting icon. I actually saved a different tea icon the other day, so I might replace this with it. We'll see.





From the ever fabulous xkcd of course. That "refersh, refresh" is totally what I (and all of you, admit it!) do at my computer when I'm bored. I like my other xkcd icon better though, so this one gets neglected.





Puppet Angel! Only the best episode of Angel EVER. A useful icon, because I like to whine a lot on LJ, so "woe" just about calls it. There have definitely been periods of time where this one, my "Piz hate" one and the "crying rain" one really get a workout.
