Actually it wasn't, so you get off scot-free! I found some black nail polish at work (long story) and was messing around with it, didn't realise it wasn't tightly shut, etc.

HA! Disappointingly, no. Instead it had to do with inner paintwork on his old Maserati.

Oh, man. That sucks. My only advice is to take them to the cleaners. Or throw them out.

Well the stain is still there, but lighter. I might end up taking them to the cleaners to see if they can do any better, but probably not now that I've messed with them. IDK, I really don't want to throw them away. *cries*
