Just to say
May. 7th, 2009 01:31 amKaraoke was AWESOME. As it always is. In fact, it was so good that we decided to stay an extra hour (we had booked for two).
We sang Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" which I totally put in because of Glee, and I think it's my new favourite karaoke song. Everyone loved it, and I know we'll put it on the mental list of standards.
Oh! Also awesome? They now have "I won't say (I'm in love)" from Hercules. I swear that wasn't there before. And also one song from the Buffy musical. It's "Going through the motions" which wouldn't be my first choice, but basically I'm just surprised they have it. OMG, next time I have to check for HSM songs - I can't believe I never did that before!!
Lest you think we only do musicals and Disney songs though, let me tell you that our repertoire tonight also included: Beatles, Joni Mitchell, REM, The Smiths, Oasis, Boyzone, Blur, Greenday, Blink 182, The Supremes, Don Mclean, Kenny Rogers, Supersonic, EMF, Dead or Alive, Frank Sinatra, and so many more that I can't remember now.
So yeah, karaoke rules.
