What the hell, WB?

Trying to organise for Harry Potter is eating my brain. It's like, there is NO organisation to be had. This is what's happening:
1. Premiere is tomorrow night in Leicester square but of course we need to be there super early, which doesn't really work when some of us have jobs. So that problem has been there for a while but isn't any closer to solution. And now my boss wants me to go to the Embassy tomorrow afternoon, which may or may not help me out, I can't decide. I may end up queueing for hours. Blech.
2. Supposedly it wasn't showing at the IMAX (which I checked decades ago) until the 29th because of some sort of mix-up with Terminator and double booking and the moved HP premiere date from November. And yet...now it's showing there, as Claire pointed out today. But (of course) since IMAX showings sell out in like, seconds, it's full for a solid week and a half. So that will still have to wait a few weeks. Which is okay but not great.
3. Midnight showings (This is the one making me pull my hair out.) THERE ARE NO FRAKKING MIDNIGHT SHOWINGS. SERIOUSLY LONDON WTF?!? We thought for a while they hadn't posted them, but now that we've called some theatres it appears that is not the case. Oh no. They just aren't doing them. For Harry Potter 6. I repeat, WTF? So yeah, pretty much no way to make this any kind of "event" - we're just gonna have to wait until the next day after work and go to the movies.
I accept this isn't an exciting entry. But I needed to vent. :)
